Mike Reiss, creator, writer, producer, show runner of The Simpsons, with his wife Denise on their 33rd Anniversary on Hammond Hill Road in Catham, Cape Cod, looking at the mockups of Volumes I & II of Sunset in a Glass: Adventures of a Food & Wine Road Warrior in Spain. Both Mike and Denise have been in Spain with me. Mike Reiss's comment was, "If you only buy one book this year it should be "Sunset in a Glass." Denise, who says, "Love your book and I love everything you say!" is looking at Volume II and Mike Reiss is looking at Volume I (of IV).

Gerry Dawes is the Producer and Program Host of Gerry Dawes & Friends, a weekly radio progam on Pawling Public Radio in Pawling, New York (streaming live and archived at www.pawlingpublicradio.org and at www.beatofthevalley.com.)

Dawes was awarded Spain's prestigious Premio Nacional de Gastronomía (National Gastronomy Award) in 2003. He writes and speaks frequently on Spanish wine and gastronomy and leads gastronomy, wine and cultural tours to Spain.
